From 2012 to 2019, I worked as Design Associate then Deputy Art Director for the monthly publication. In August 2017, the Design Director, Mindy Benham, and myself initiated and completed a full-scale redesign of the entire publication.

Regular monthly duties included designing front-of-book pages, feature stories, service packages, photo essays, web, and social media graphics. 

To help execute my vision, I collaborated with the staff photographer, editorial & art assistant, freelance photographers and illustrators. Whenever needed, I would do hand lettering and icon illustration. Monthly collaborations with the staff photographer included conceptualizing, art directing, set, product, and food styling, DIY set and prop creation, and being a spontaneous hand model.

Throughout my time at the magazine, we won multiple City & Regional Magazine Association Awards.
