Creating Good Magazine

Rogue Creatives’ Creative Director, Cory Hill, was looking for layout design work for Issue 02 of their Creating Good Magazine, featuring WomenServe, a nonprofit that works towards gender equity by empowering women in underserved communities. This story specifically highlighted how WomenServe has brought access to water resources for the women of Rajasthan, India. As a result, the women no longer have to spend 10 hours a day walking to and from wells to collect water.

For the design, I wanted to play with the repeated graphic shape of water droplets to show abundance and tie into the story’s theme. To convey the hope that WomenServe has brought to these women’s lives, I wanted to create a vibrant and lively design by playing with a high-contrast and colorful palette.
