TaneshaNicole Tyler of Button Poetry was looking for original cover design concepts for a book of poetry by Akosua Zimba Afiriyie-Hwedie, their 2019 Chapbook Winner.
I had designed a couple original cover concepts with custom illustration. Ultimately, the author was drawn to the art of Lebohang Motaung, who graciously let us adapt her artwork for the cover jacket.
